Dr. Willis J. Pumphrey. D.D.S
Dr. Willis Pumphrey first started doing cosmetic dentistry when he served in the US Army at Fort Polk. He helped a young mother whose teeth were stained by antibiotics.
When she saw the results, she sobbed, thanking Dr. Pumphrey for handling a problem that had bothered her for decades.
This first experience led him to look into dental techniques that could give more natural looking effects. This developed into a lifelong quest into technologies that could change peoples lives for the better.
To help people be able to smile with confidence he opened the Dental Cosmetic CenterSM of Houston in Houston Texas.
A Graduate of the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Dr. Pumphrey also attended a Mini-Esthetic Residency at the University Dental Branch in San Antonio. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
Dr. Pumphrey is not only committed to change for the better in his own patients, but in the community at large. He has been active in literacy programs and mentoring since 1994 and founded Project C.A.L.L (Community Assisting Literacy and Learning) in Fort Bend County to meet the needs of at-risk student who cannot read.
Dr. Darwin K. Hayes D.D.S F.A.G.D
Dr. Hayes has a strong interest in art and esthetics within the scope of dentistry
His passion for excellence in his professional craft led him to seek Accreditation status in one of the world's most renowned dental organizations, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. (AACD)
Dr. Hayes received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. And his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery - the first dental school in the world.
He served voluntarily as a captain in United States Air Force for four years and became certified as an Advanced Clinical Dentist. In his pursuit of excellence in his career, Dr. Hayes developed a strong advocacy for continuing education. He has competed nearly 600 hours of professional credits over a four-year period in various disciplines and specialty areas.
This dedication resulted in him being awarded Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry, a prestigious honor that symbolizes his professional responsibility to maintain current and up to date, and his commitment to lifelong learning to provide quality patient care.
